A Small Service Interruption

It’s last Thursday evening. I’m in sportswear, rushing to head to the gym.

And I’ve just realised I’ve hit post on last week’s newsletter before I had remembered to upload the free checklist I promised you.

Cue a fair bit of self-admonishment. I definitely called myself a name or two.

Then cue the dilemma: do I quickly fix the issue and resend the newsletter? Or do I wait?

I decided to put my own words into practice, put our relationship first, and think about what’s most likely to annoy yous all. And that seemed to me to be spamming you with a second email just a few minutes after the first.

So, a week late, with profuse apologies, here’s a link to that Win-Win Checklist now.

A second apology is also due. Because this is not the newsletter that you were supposed to get this week. You should be getting a newsletter about the next step ing putting the relationship first in your contracts: reflecting who you really are. But this is clearly not that.

For a variety of reasons, this week has run away from me. And rather than just bash out a half-baked version, I’d rather make sure it’s right before I send it out.

So this is all you’re getting this week (stop that cheering at the back!)

That next R1L step will come next Thursday. Then we’ll take a break for a couple of Thursdays (for obvious reasons) before getting back on The Collaborative Legal Way again in January.

Till then, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do at any Xmas do you’ve got (although, given what happened to me in 2017, that’s leaving a lot of scope for mischief on the table). And do let me know if you’ve any questions or feedback on anything ‘relationship first’-related.
